My Top 10 Comedies

My+Top+10+Comedies
  1. Monty Python and The Holy Grail

Monty Python and The Holy Grail is one of my favorite comedies from the early 2000s. Here’s a quick little summary for you with the hopes you will watch it! It’s based on medieval circumstances and is about King Arthur, but is made to be like a modern-day crime investigation. While watching this movie you get to see many funny characters, and I think you will enjoy it.  You won’t regret watching it!

  1. Tropic Thunder

In my opinion, Tropic Thunder is one of the funniest films ever created and has many of the best actors packed into it. Brief summary; While shooting a war film the “director” decides to bring the actors to a real-life jungle in a real war zone to capture the actors’ realistic performance. This leads to tons of chaos with some gore but will make you laugh an unhealthy amount.

  1. Emperors New Groove

Emperor’s New Groove was one of my absolute favorite movies as a kid and still makes me laugh hysterically to this day. You meet my favorite characters,“ Yzma”, who is the main villain, and her partner in crime “Kronk” whose body is a lot bigger than his brain. Most importantly, Kusco, who is the main character.  I don’t think I should summarize this movie because there is a major secret plot point that you find out while watching.

  1. Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny is a hilarious and chaotic film starring Jack Black and Kyle Gass. This movie is upbeat and has fun music and is so funny every time you watch it.

  1. Deadpool

Deadpool is one of my favorite movies because of the commentary. It stars Ryan Reynolds which makes it even better. The movie is about an evil scientist that tortures and experiments on Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), and makes him the antihero “Deadpool”.

  1. Napoleon Dynamite

Napoleon Dynamite is one of my favorite comedies because of the unintentional funny comments that add an awkward/uncomfortable feeling. The main character is Napoleon Dynamite, and he is an awkward teenager who meets a classmate named Pedro, and together they make a plan to run for class president.

  1. Shrek 2

In my opinion, all of the Shrek movies are good, but if I had to choose I would 100% recommend Shrek 2. I found this movie entertaining as a kid, and I feel the same way as a teenager. Sometimes I think it’s funnier now because I understand more references.

  1. Step Brothers

Step Brothers stars Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly. In the movie, they are extremely lazy adults who end up in a messy situation when their single parents get married.

  1. Clueless

Clueless is one of my favorite comfort movies because of the comedy and drama in it. It’s about two wealthy best friends that are getting through high school. It has so much drama and funny commentary that makes it so entertaining every time you watch it.

  1. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is one of my all-time favorite movies to watch. It’s realistic yet so unrealistic, and all of the characters have the best commentary. It’s about teenagers making an epic plan to skip school and do fun things around their city instead. I recommend watching ASAP.
