Every Thursday on Hulu an episode of The Kardashians. Seemingly the previous Kardashian show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK), has been off since 2021, fans have been raving to know what is happening with the Kardashian/Jenner family. A lot of events have unfolded since the ending of the show. Kim Kardashian is currently divorcing Kayne West and the media is left in the dark about what is happening regarding the divorce. There are also questions about the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. There is a lot of confusion that fans are hoping the newest show, premiering every Thursday, will answer.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been a series since 2007. There were a few times when the family was out of focus because of the continuous filming for the original series. At the beginning of the newest series, they described the break from filming as “a blessing” and overall just very positive to finally not be in the spotlight. In between not filming, relationships and former relationship information is becoming more and more public. Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian got engaged, which is her first engagement despite her previous relationship with Scott Disick. Despite not being with Kardashian, Disick still was featured on the show’s first episode. With all of the new content revolving around the Kardashian/Jenner family, fans had something to say about the latest show.

People are very underwhelmed by the first episode of The Kardashians that premiered on April 14th, in comparison to the first episode of KUWTK. The first episode of most series are very underwhelming, so it doesn’t directly reflect how entertaining the new show will or won’t be in the future. There is hope that the show will be just as entertaining as KUWTK, but seemingly episodes will be released weekly, it will be very hard to know.

In the original series, there wasn’t nearly as much coverage on the Kardashian/Jenner children in all of the seasons as there was in the first episode of the newest series. Watchers got a lot more information about the personalities of the children. Fans are hoping to see the personality of North West, Kim Kardashian’s daughter, and Penelope Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter, because of their newest social media presence of them being kids. There is also a viral clip of North West congratulating True Thompson on her fourth birthday by stating four is the worst age and it “sucks”, which is causing a lot of questions about the Kardashian’s parenting methods. With the children coming into the spotlight it is unclear what direction the show will take.
The Kardashians have received a lot of criticism and praise for the beginning episode. Clips have been trending on TikTok, but that is nothing new for the Kardashian/Jenner family. The ending clip to the first episode was very dramatic and nothing compared to the ‘catch up’ episodes fans sat through in the hope of an iconic family moment of bickering. Fans are very excited to know that members of the family are having birthday parties and events so they can see everything inside that was not glamorous enough for social media. Avid watchers are hoping for an ‘insider look’ at the family events and drama that drew fans to the original show.
