The Kennedy family has had a long political standing in many positions, so they are very well known. However, they have also experienced many tragic events over the years. Because of this, people in the public eye have begun to believe that the Kennedy family is cursed.
Rosemary Kennedy
Rosemary Kennedy was the only one who died in her elder years losing most mental function earlier on from being lobotomized. She was the oldest of four daughters of the Kennedy name, being born in 1918. As Rosemary was growing up, she was not mentally developing as fast as her peers and siblings, and this continued into her adult years where she would be described as unpleasant or unmanageable by her family. Rosemary’s father, Joe Kennedy, had his daughter lobotomized in 1941 – when Rosemary was 21 – after hearing it could help with mood and behavior problems. Because of this, Rose became paralyzed, and would be placed in St. Collate School.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK)
JFK grew up with his seven siblings and later in his life had three kids. He ran for president at age thirty-five in the 1960 election against R. Nixon. In November 1960, JFK was elected, becoming the thirty-fifth president. JFK was only in office from 1961 to 1963 before his assassination. This would take place on his two-day tour in Texas to get ready for the 1964 election in the following year. On his route to give a speech, his convertible would go down Elm Street. While going down the street, they would pass the Texas School Book Depository. A few moments later, gunfire could be heard, and two bullets struck JFK- one going through his neck, and the other going into his head. JFK was pronounced dead at the Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Robert Francis Kennedy (RFK)
RFK was a father to eleven, during only an eighteen year marriage, his professional jobs were as a lawyer and attorney general under his older brother JFK. In 1968, RFK began to announce his run in the upcoming campaign against Lyndon B. Johnson. It was looking promising for RFK, with him winning four out of five Democratic primaries. However, this would all change on a trip to Los Angeles when RFK would give a celebratory speech outside his hotel about winning the primary, where a man would step out and shoot him. RFK was assassinated only five years after his brother JFK; he was pronounced dead the next day at the age of 42.
David Kennedy
David Kennedy was born to his father RFK in 1955. He was the fourth child and lost his father RFK at the young age of thirteen. David would form a drug problem in his early life, and because of the drugs he would use, David developed bacterial endocarditis which is a kind of heart disease. Despite the diagnosis, David would continue with his drug habit throughout his life,and would be found dead of a drug overdose in Florida at The Brazilian Court Hotel. The drugs found in his system- cocaine, Demerol, and mellaril-, were blamed for his death at the age of twenty-eight.
Kathleen Kennedy
Kathleen Kennedy lived a normal life. She was born in 1920, becoming the second oldest sister in the Kennedy family. later in life Kathleen became a volunteer for the Red Cross during WWII. During a flight from the U.S. to London, her plane faced an unexpected storm on its way and crashed into the mountains near France. Kathleen and everyone else on the plane would die. Kathleen was twenty-eight when she passed in 1948.
Michael LeMoyne Kennedy
Micheal Kennedy was one of RFKs eleven children and was the second youngest. As he became an adult, Michael decided to become a lawyer and activist, making several nonprofits to help the public change for the better.. Micheal went on a holiday skiing trip in 1997 to Aspen, Colorado. While there, he participated in “ski football”. During the playing of the game, Micheal accidentally crashed into a nearby tree. He would die in Aspen Valley Hospital at the age of thirty-nine.
John Fitzgarld Kennedy Jr
John was the son of former president JFK and his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. John didn’t enter into politics until 1988 at the Democratic National Convention where he would give a speech introducing his uncle. John had his primary jobs as an attorney and a publisher for George Magazine. He was one of the founders of the company, and the magazine was about “ Capturing the heartbeat of U.S politics”. In 1998, JFK Jr. worked to get a private piloting license, and that very next year, JFK Jr. would fly him and his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, as well as her older sister. The flight was to get to his cousin’s wedding, but the plane would crash into the Atlantic Ocean near Massachusetts. JFK Jr. would die at the age of thirty-eight, and his wife Carolyn would die at thirty-three.
Saoirse Kennedy Hill
Saoirse is the granddaughter of RFK and was the vice president of the college democrats at Boston College in 2019. Boston College is a private school in Massachusetts where she worked well in and out of class. Saoirse was going to be a 2020 graduate Before a fatal drug overdose from a combination of methadone, a variety of prescription drugs, and alcohol. Her death was not ruled a suicide, but an accidental drug overdose from the mixture. Saoirse would die at the age of twenty-two, a year before she was set to graduate.
The Family
Over the years, the Kennedy family has faced very many accidental deaths that continue to the current day. There are a decent amount of conspiracy theories about the family, saying they were cursed or just had extremely bad luck. Uncertainty about the Kennedys is still present, with speculation on the deaths .
