PEKKA
A sculpture I made for a 5th grader. He requested PEKKA from Clash of Clans. I hope this makes his day.
2022 vs. 2026
In 2022 (seen on the left), I experimented with a limited color palette and turned my devices settings to black and white, so that I was drawing in gray scale. 4 years later (seen on the right), as a senior, I revisited this drawing. What took me 5 hours as a freshman took me only 1 this year. I am proud of my own improvements and hope I keep growing. – Alex Petersen, (5/15/26)
BOOTH SKELETON
Check out the theater department, y’all. – Ethan
SKETCHES GALORE
Sketches that express my deepest and most intimate feelings in the world. Behold – Ethan
Mahi Mahi
A drawing of the Mahi Mahi, a tropical fish. This piece is made from soft crayons, an oil pastel like medium.
Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie, an American actress, is well known for her variety of roles and acting skills. (Paige Seeland)
Star Girl
A woman’s throat is slit through. And yet, what you find is not a crimson weeping, but a blessed star flying.
CLAY DINOSAURS
The clay dinosaur survived the kiln. It has a friend now. Their names are Anky Bee and Cera Blue.
The ultimate lifeform
A mixed media painting of shadow the hedgehog
REPTILIAN BEAST
I drew this reptilian beast in the theater. I only had a pen, and I did it between scenes when I had time. Overall, I quite like it.
A graphite portrait of Walter White. I’ve only watched the first episodes of Breaking Bad, and I desperately need to continue watching it. This drawing is hanged in Mrs. Johnson’s culinary room (Ethan Wright). (Ethan Wright)
HEISENBERG
I sculpted a clay dinosaur in my ceramics class. It’s based on the genus Ankylosaurus. It’s as hot-blooded and fervent as it looks. It has yet to brave the kiln, so there is a possible chance it implodes and leaves a sad pile of soot where it stood. In the case of such a scenario, I took a picture in its honor. (Ethan Wright)
CLAY DINO VS. KILN
It’s almost Thanksgiving! That means turkeys everywhere. This drawing pin points all of the cool details of turkeys! Ranging from blue, to black, brown and red. (Paige Seeland)
TURKEY
WILD HORSES
There is a herd of wild horses on Upper Miller & Lower Miller Creek. They roam around, and even hang out in people’s yards! (Paige)
