I love playing guitar, and as I’ve learned the instrument I’ve also grown to love the rustic vibe it presents. In my opinion, guitars are the most visually appealing instruments when it comes to photography. From the steel strings to the individual indents of the fret board, guitars are always a fun instrument to photograph.

These red berries help in adding color to the mostly monochrome winter environment. As winter sets in, natural colors as bright as these berries portray become less and less common as snow begins to fall over most everything. Thanks to nature, we can still enjoy some color through the winter season.

The American flag, a valiant symbol of our country, stands tall and proud atop any flagpole on which it stands. There’s something about seeing our flag flowing in the wind that (with the right weather, technique, and angle) can be beautifully photogenic.

As the holidays approach, ornaments like these can be seen all around. With their varying properties, festive ornaments are one of my favorite subjects for photography. Whether they’re reflective, shiny, or see-through, ornaments are always a wonderful holiday-themed subject.

I love Christmas. The comfiness, the snow, the decorations…there’s no holiday like it. Focusing on the decorations, I thought this truck’s grille wreath was really pretty, adding a natural vibe to an environment where it feels so out of place. It creates a really nice contrast between the metallic background and the fresh green of the wreath.
Thanks for making it this far! This piece was a nice change of pace for me as I didn’t rely on a theme and chose to present my favorite recent photos.
