Fall Book Recommendations

It is officially fall! Hooray! Personally, I love autumnal weather, but I digress because today I will be recommending books that you can cuddle up with a fuzzy blanket, a hot cup of cider, and a crackling digital fire (unless you are lucky enough to have a real one).

I just have to say, if you are like me and need to have the sequel ASAP when you finish, maybe wait to read this one. However, that will probably be difficult for you to wait to read because it sounds so good! This is a dual perspective fantasy first following Koffi. She’s indentured to the Night Zoo, where she looks after magical and dangerous creatures as she attempts to pay back the debt of her family. The other is Ekon, he is destined to become an elite warrior to uphold the family legacy. During the last trial, he is faced with a

Is it just me or does this book scream “read me in the fall!”? Not just me? This is a book I’ve been longing to read and now is the perfect time for me to check it out of the library!

This is a book I have read that gave me major autumnal vibes, not to mention it’s a great book!

Like many of the books on this list, this is a novel on my TBR. Now if you don’t like a little romance, move along.

Birdie and Daniel are two teenagers who work the night shift at a local hotel. Birdie surrounds her little secluded life with mystery books as an escape from her strict grandparents and isolation. She takes the hotel job to grow into the person she wants to be and meets Daniel, the van driver for the night shift. He

shares her love for intrigue and to their astonishment, a mystery begins to unfold in the wee hours of the morning. A reclusive author, never spotted before, might be meeting with someone at their hotel. In order to find out more, Birdie will have to venture out of her shell to solve the mystery. But is the mystery with the author or actually with the charming driver?

This sounds like a perfect fall romance, even if it does take place in the summer.

I’m intrigued by this book. I wonder how this will work out? It seems to blend romance, historical fiction, and fantasy together, and I’m excited to find out how they work together.

This book follows three different perspectives, Zoey, Val, and Marion. Zoey is the daughter of a police chief. She is a vivacious, spunky girl who is treading through grief and dreaming about vanished girls. Val is queen bee. She has the beauty, the money, and the influence but has a lot going on internally. Her heart carries secrets but her mouth spews lies. Finally we have Marion, an introspective girl who is grieving the loss

of her father and desperate for love as she moves to a new island called Sawkill Rock. However, the island is hiding its own secrets as girls vanish, possibly by the clutches of the monster that dwells on the island. No one has dared to fight this evil… until now.

This book sounds so erie and mysterious. I feel like I can see the fog seeping out from its pages. Although, whatever you do, do not play creepy music while I read this because I am a big scaredy cat.
